What the integration does
Help! I Got a Puppy ("HIGAP") uses the Meta and Instagram APIs to publish approved content to the HIGAP Instagram account. This is currently an owner-operated publishing tool, not a login or account service offered to general website visitors.
Request deletion by email
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- The email address associated with your request.
- Your Instagram username or Meta account name, if relevant.
- Enough information to identify the authorization or records you want deleted.
Do not send your password, access token, app secret, or other account credentials.
What I will delete
After verifying the request, I will delete or invalidate applicable HIGAP-held data, which may include:
- Meta or Instagram access tokens controlled by HIGAP.
- Instagram account identifiers and authorization records.
- Unpublished media, captions, and queue records associated with the authorization.
- API response identifiers or publishing records that are no longer needed.
I will ordinarily complete a verified request within 30 days and confirm when it is complete. I may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or documenting completion of the request.
Disconnect Meta or Instagram access
You may also revoke the app's authorization through your Meta or Instagram account settings. Revoking authorization prevents future API access, but it may not by itself delete records already stored by HIGAP. Email the deletion request above if you also want applicable HIGAP-held records removed.
Website and email-list requests
The same email address can be used to request deletion of information you provided through the HIGAP website. Email subscribers can also unsubscribe through the link in any marketing email.
