Help! I Got a Puppy ("HIGAP") is operated by Joshua Stine. In these terms, "I," "me," and "my" refer to Joshua Stine and HIGAP. By accessing or using helpigotapuppy.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Educational information, not professional advice

HIGAP provides general educational information about choosing, preparing for, raising, training, and caring for dogs. The site is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a veterinarian, certified trainer, behaviorist, attorney, financial professional, or other qualified professional.

Dogs, households, and circumstances differ. You are responsible for evaluating information and deciding what is appropriate and safe for your dog. Contact a veterinarian promptly about health concerns or possible emergencies. Never delay professional care because of something you read on HIGAP.

Permitted use

You may use the site and its publicly available resources for personal, noncommercial purposes. You agree not to:

The book and downloadable resources

Purchases of the Help! I Got a Puppy book are completed through third-party retailers and are subject to their terms. Checklists, downloads, quizzes, and other resources are provided for general informational and personal use. They do not guarantee a particular health, behavior, training, purchasing, or ownership outcome.

Messages, feedback, and submissions

If you send feedback, corrections, ideas, testimonials, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You retain ownership of your original material, but you grant HIGAP a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, and display material you intentionally submit for publication or promotional use. I will not publish private correspondence as a testimonial without permission.
